Veteran radio personality and former BET Rap City host Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan has been arrested in Georgia on charges of aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children, according to Fulton County Jail records and multiple media reports.

Morgan, 53, was taken into custody by the Sandy Springs Police Department and booked into the Fulton County Jail on June 20. Authorities say the charges stem from an alleged domestic incident that reportedly occurred on June 9 at his Sandy Springs residence. He was later released the same day after posting a $10,000 bond.

According to court documents cited by local media, investigators allege that an argument between Morgan and his wife escalated into a physical confrontation. Police claim the woman suffered a serious facial injury that required medical treatment and stitches. Authorities also allege that the couple’s 13-year-old son was inside the home during the incident, leading to the child cruelty charge.

The alleged incident was reportedly captured by a Ring security camera, and medical personnel later contacted law enforcement after treating the victim’s injuries. The case remains under investigation.

Morgan has publicly denied the allegations. During a recent broadcast and in social media statements, he described the accusations as “false” and stated that the events being reported “didn’t happen.”

Big Tigger rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s as the face of BET’s iconic hip-hop television program Rap City. He currently hosts The Big Tigger Morning Show on Atlanta’s V-103 and serves as an in-game host and public address announcer for the Atlanta Hawks.

As of publication, no trial date has been announced, and the charges remain allegations. Under U.S. law, all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
